24 Channel Solenoid Driver Board (ROCS1000)
			 |

			|
The ROCS 1000 series of PC104 Solenoid driver boards provides
24 channels of solenoid drive signals. In addition, this board may also
			drive relay coils.

The standard card, ROCS1000, contains 24 opto coupled FET Drives
that may be connected to standard relay or solenoid coils and is capable of
driving up to 1 Amp per channel. Connection to this board is through Pheonix screw
			or push button connectors.

This PC104 format PCB accepts 24 standard 5V logic digital inputs and can be used to drive higher
loads at a nominal 24V. A 50 way IDC header, compatible with standard PC104 digital boards
(e.g. Diamond systems, Garnet card) is used for digital input to the board. The outputs are
electrically isolated from the inputs and have LED indicators to show correct operation. Fuses may
be fitted to the outputs as an option. This board is suitable for driving up to 12 bidirectional
solenoid valves assuming that suitable back E.M.F. suppression diodes are fitted at the valves.
Although this board is PC104 size and has the required stackthough bus connectors fitted, it
requires no signals or power from the bus.
