ROV Networks Replacement ROV Control systems (ROCS)
ROV Network Designs and builds the first and only "drop in" replacement ROV control system. These compact and incredibly powerful control systems provide operators with a method of updating their existing fleet quickly and at a surprisingly low cost

Meant for rugged environments when reliability is critical, our systems provide the optical isolation and protection for all your electronics and sensors. Our designs are meant to work in the most unfriendly environment in the world, Deep underwater where a single failure can mean hours of downtime and Hundreds of thousands of pounds in costs.

This versatile and fully scaleable design comes as a kit of parts consisting of Surface controller, Subsea controller and surface graphics computer. All you need to supply is the original control panel and electronics pod. (we can supply these too if required)
One of the unique capabilities of this system is the graphics over video capability which allows the user configurable graphics to be floated over incoming video signals. These can be recorded to VCR or DVD if required.

The surface controller will mount on the base of your existing control panel and connect to existing switches and joysticks. The Subsea Lightweight Control chassis is supplied with a stab plate which mounts to your existing pod end and is wired to existing subsea connectors. The Chassis shown above is designed for 10" ID Pods although other sizes are available. This system can be implemented Very quickly into your ROV and requires the minimum of setting up.

The scaleable design can be reduced to just a few cards or increased to suit highly integrated and complex designs. The system will suit Trenchers, Ploughs, Tooling modules and any device requiring control and diagnostics in a hazerdous environment.

The system will operate on copper 485 or single or multimode fibreoptic systems. We can use your existing multiplexer or we can supply a PC104 fibre optic mux unit to upgrade your system.

Our standard designs are based on PC104 and distributed systems, although they can also be implemented in almost any board or bus format. Whether you need a replacement control system for existing equipment or a new design for ROV,s Ploughs, Trenchers and tooling modules, We have the solution....
