These miniature RS485 based PIC boards each contain either digital and analog input
or digital and analog output with each board tailored for a specific control function.
The boards mount on top of the target valves and link together by 2-wire communications
and 2-wire power. Additional boards allow connection to pressure/flow sensors, encoders and
other analogue or digital sensors
The RS485 half duplex communications are designed to run over a 2-wire connection or may be
converted to RS232 for transmission to the surface.
The simple protocols allow easy integration into other control systems or ROV Network can provide a
dedicated compact touch screen control device. We also supply as standard a windows based
software package that will drive the modules via a RS232 to RS485 converter.
Whether you are expanding existing hardware, developing new tools or for
integration into new projects, the ROV Network Distributed Control System will
make the job easier. The boards have each been tested down to 3000 mtrs and whether the design is for
ROV,s Ploughs, Trenchers or tooling modules or even for surface projects, We have the solution....
